October Gathering
After a slow summer, eFUG is rolling again. Our next gathering will be on Monday, October 3rd, at Guru Digital Arts College (map in the left bar). This meeting will feature Grant Skinner doing a talk called "What's New in Flash 8":
In this one-hour session we will thoroughly review the biggest release of Flash in the history of the platform. We'll talk about how to best apply the new graphical expressiveness features both visually and via code. We'll discuss the long list of new video features, including encoding and delivering video. Finally, we'll explore details of all of the other new features in the next generation of Flash.
As always, there will be beer, shwag and good company. We hope to see you there.
There are exciting times ahead for Flash developers. Flash 8 has amazing new features focused around video and expressiveness. eFUG offers you the opportunity to learn about and discuss these new capabilities with your peers locally.
