Gathering: April 19, 2004

The next gathering is on Monday April 19 @ 7pm at Guru Digital Arts College. We don't have any formal speakers in place for the meeting, but we will be running a question and answer period, show and tell, and social mixer. I'll be doing a show and tell of some of the experimental work I've been doing with grid-based proximity and tolerance-based systems, and walk through the code in a new "Proximity Fireflies" experiment I'm working on to demonstrate these ideas. Bring your latest and greatest, and show it off to your peers - we all need inspiration!

As always, we'll have tons of great swag, including a chance to win a copy of Studio MX 2004! You have to be there to win!

Sorry again for late notice about this gathering, steps are being put in place to make everything much smoother in the future, one of which I will be announcing on the gathering Monday.

Drinks are being sponsored this month by the New Toronto Group, who is running "Flash MX 2004: Application Development" in Edmonton on April 27-29. eFug members get a substantial discount on this training - see details below.
